Phosphorus

Phosphorus is a very deep-acting medication. Its impact extends to all areas of human life.

Patients who need Phosphorus are very sensitive to cold and need a lot of warmth. Cold makes all symptoms worse. Only the head symptoms (headache) are improved by fresh air or cold applications, the stomach symptoms (nausea, pain, etc.) by cold drinks. However, the liquid is vomited as soon as it has warmed up in the stomach.

The pain of Phosphorus is characteristically burning: burning between the shoulder blades, patchy burning down the spine, intense heat running up the back, burning of the palms, burning in the mouth, esophagus and stomach.

Phosphorus has a pronounced tendency to bleed in its central image. Even very small wounds bleed for a long time, or large bruises easily occur. All secretions (from the nose, bronchi, urine, etc.) are bloody or streaked with blood. Children who need phosphorus often have nosebleeds. The blood is bright red and liquid, it doesn't seem to clot.

The digestive organs also show very characteristic symptoms. The patient asks for cold things (cold drinks, ice cream, etc.). There is also a strong desire for salty foods or pure salt. Fish is also one of the favorite foods of a phosphorus patient. Patients get up at night because they are hungry, or their appetite is particularly high if they have a fever. There is a great thirst for large quantities. If the patient doesn't eat anything, he or she becomes weak and has a queasy feeling in his stomach. Burping is typical for phosphorus, meaning that the mouth is completely filled with the food that has been eaten. The feeling that the anus is open, or that it is actually wide open, is also characteristic.

The suffering of the phosphorus patient is improved by sleep (Lach. gets worse by sleep). They like to sleep on the right. side, since all her symptoms come from lying on her left. Page will be degraded. The arms fall asleep when the patient lies on them at night, the legs fall asleep when they are crossed.

Phosphorus is particularly suitable for people who are tall and slim, have fair skin with freckles and red or blonde (sometimes dark) hair. It suits young people who have grown too quickly. There are swellings under the eyes, the so-called bags under the eyes.

Phosphorus patients are very anxious. They are afraid of twilight or darkness, fear of ghosts (patients see terrible figures in the corners of the room), fear of dying or fear of thunderstorms. Other symptoms also develop before thunderstorms, such as headaches, and change in weather in general is detrimental to the patient. His fear increases the restlessness that is usually present in phosphorus patients, making it almost impossible to stand or sit still.

Phosphorus patients are very compassionate and have a great desire for companionship. Being alone makes their symptoms worse. This desire for attention is also evident on a physical level, because the sick feel better when they are massaged.

But there are also states of indifference towards relatives and loved ones, or the patient becomes physically and mentally slow, he moves slowly, he responds slowly.

Phosphorus has a particularly good effect on the liver and heals fatty liver degeneration, liver cirrhosis, etc. This leads to a tendency to bleeding (see above) and jaundice. It is also often indicated for diseases of the pancreas, for example diabetes mellitus. It is also an excellent remedy for diseases of the respiratory system (pneumonia, especially of the right lower lobe; tuberculosis). It cures painless hoarseness (worse in the evening), hoarseness in speakers and singers. The cough is worse when inhaling cold air or going out into the cold or, conversely, coming out of the cold into a warm room. It also worsens when a person enters the room and also by singing or reading loudly. To relieve the cough, the patient must sit up. Phosphorus is suitable for cough during pregnancy. The sputum may be salty.

Phosphorus also cures many types of dizziness, such as dizziness during eye strain, turning in bed, rapid head movements, lying to the left, looking down, etc.

In addition to the symptoms mentioned, there are many others in the middle image of Phosphorus, which would go beyond the scope of the list.
