As the name “worm herb” suggests, it is suitable for worm diseases and particularly for ascarids (roundworms). The symptoms include cravings, even at night, with weight loss, although the stomach is distended. Immediately after eating, patients feel weak. You have a constant desire to rub your nose or pick your nose. They pick at the nose and lips until it bleeds. They are bad-tempered, naughty, moody and offended at the slightest provocation. They cannot tolerate any approach, no touching, no pressure. At night they wake up in horror, do not recognize anyone, scream and cling to those around them. They grind their teeth in their sleep.

Patients who need Cina also have a tendency to touch everything.

Cina has a strong effect on the nervous system and is particularly effective in convulsions when the convulsions are caused by fever or worm infections, when they occur at night or when preceded by screaming. It also cures strabismus, especially when squinting inwards.

Another nervous system disorder for which Cina is appropriate is a gurgling sound that occurs in the throat, especially when drinking and less commonly after coughing or during convulsions.

Cina must also be considered as a remedy for fever. The indications are: Pale face or pale only around the mouth, thirsty in the chill but thirstless in the heat, increased appetite before the chill.
