This medicine is often indicated at the beginning of acute illnesses when the symptoms develop into great severity in a short period of time. The symptoms arise primarily from very cold, dry weather, from drafts, but also from very hot weather. The psychological state is characteristic and manifests itself in great fear (even to the point of fear of death) and is paired with great restlessness.
For colds, it is indicated in the first stage, as soon as the patient realizes that he has caught a cold. At this time, a real cold has often not yet developed, the nose is stuffy and hot and sometimes there is a chill. The patient often has to sneeze. He feels better outdoors.
Acon is also good for flu. indicated when the disease develops after the patient has been exposed to cold, dry winds and the symptoms develop very quickly and with great severity. The fever comes suddenly and the patient feels cold. There is also great restlessness. Body aches may be present. It happens that one cheek is red and the other is pale, the red face turns pale when you put it on, or the face is alternately red and pale.
Like Bell. Sweat can be found on covered parts, for example on all parts of the body that are covered by pajamas or the duvet.
If there is a sore throat, the throat is very red, there is often a great thirst for cold water, or the patient cannot swallow at all.
The cough is also caused by dry, cold weather and is dry and croup-like. There is usually no sputum.
Acon can be used for pseudo croup. be given if the child wakes up after falling asleep and is very anxious and restless along with the cough. Exposure to cold often precedes the cough.
Acon. is thirsty for large amounts of cold liquid.
